MES PK and Kinder Round Up Information

Attention Band Students: We are having a Meet and Greet with Mr. Boyer Thursday from 9:00-1:00 in the Band Hall. We will keep social distancing standards in place. Please come out and meet our new Band Director!
MISD will continue to feed breakfast and lunch to all children aged 18 and under from June 1 through July 10. We will continue this as a drive through service @ MES, but for these summer months hours will change slightly. Melas will be available from 11:00-12:30, Monday through Friday.
Summer Workouts
Cody Warren is the son of Chad and Amy Warren. He has participated in Golf, Tennis, Track, Cross Country, and Basketball. He was academically active in UIL and One Act Play as well as being a member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, Cody plans to attend TSTC to get a degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology and Medical Imaging Systems. His favorite memory of high school was his Freshmen year in its entirety.
Thursday will be the last day for school-owned instrument returns. Mrs. White will be at the band hall from 3-6. If you turn it in after Thursday, you will be charged a fine for the missed cleaning. (It's super important that they get professionally cleaned, especially this year.)
Liberty Stauffer is the daughter of Shawn and Rachel Stauffer. She has been involved in different sports throughout the years and is very thankful for the memorable days of competing with her friends, under the guidance of good coaches. She has also been a part of academic competitions, and been a member of the National Honor Society all through Junior High and high school. Liberty plans to attend Tarleton State University to pursue a degree in Biomedical Sciences and Spanish, in the hopes of one day becoming a Foreign Missionary. She plans to use her medical practice to heal people physically while proclaiming the Good News of Jesus to people everywhere.

Michelle Santamaria is the daughter of Maria and Billy Tarango. She has been active in Athletics 2 years, Academics UIL 3 years, and Band 4 years. Her leadership includes Student Council, Principal’s Cabinet, and Drum Major. After graduation Michelle Santamaria plans to attend Tarleton State University to pursue Music Education and Religious Studies. Michelle does not have a specific favorite memory, "It was all around pretty great."
MES Teachers will be lining up to say their summer "good-byes" at the final packet pick up on 5/26 from 11am-1pm. Bring the kids, drive thru for your final packets with summer activities and awards, grab a lunch, & say good-bye to your teachers! We hope to see you all TOMORROW!
Matt Rosas is the son of Lance and Angel Rosas. He has been a part of athletics all four years of high school, making varsity all four years in Baseball, two years in Basketball, and two years in Powerlifting. After high schoo,l Matt will be attending West Texas A and M University to earn a Bachelors in Graphic Design.
Omar Ramirez is the son of Omar Ramirez and Monica Herrera. He has been active in Academic UIL, OAP, Band, and National Honor Society. He was Drum Captain for the band all years. For community service, Omar has participated in Mission Meridian for the past 3 year, and helped the haunted house for the 2 years it operated. After Graduation, Omar Ramirez intends to attend MCC to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). My favorite memory of high school is too hard to choose. Tons of unforgettable moments with different people.
Mallory Paruszewski is the daughter of Jim and Becky Paruszewski. She participated in Varsity
Cross Country, JV and Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Track all four years, advancing to state her
Junior and Senior year in Cross Country and Regional Track her Junior year. She played Varsity
Softball her Freshman year and was a Varsity Cheerleader 10th through 12th grades. Mallory
was a member of FFA her Freshman and Sophomore years, then transferred to 4-H her Junior and
Senior years. Mallory was a Varsity Cheer Captain and a Varsity Basketball Captain her Senior
year. After graduation, Mallory plans to attend Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva,
Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Business Management/Marketing. While working towards her
degree, she will also run Track and Cross Country at NWOSU as well as cheering. Mallory’s
favorite memory of high school is placing 9th at the Regional Cross Country meet as an individual and advancing to state.

UIL has published guidelines for us to begin Summer Workouts on June 8th. MISD coaches will meet next week to develop a solid plan! Workout times will post by the end of next week!! #RTS
