Blum will no longer have a JV boys basketball team on Friday. Unfortunately that is the end of the JV season. They have had a great season and we are extremely proud of them!
The Varsity boys game will be played at 7 in Blum tomorrow night.

It's time to order your Yellowjacket Basketball Playoff shirts! Get your order forms from the high school office or Coach G. Schur! The shirts will be white dri fit with the playoff design on the front and team roster on the back. Short sleeve will be $15, long sleeve will be $17, and 2xl and 3xl will be an additional $2! Adult and kid sizes will be available to order. Money and forms are due no later than 3:30 pm on Monday, February 13th!

2022-23 Meridian JH Girls Basketball Season Wrap Up
Congratulations to JH Girls Basketball for winning the 2022-23 District Championship! These girls worked extremely hard practicing every morning at 7 am and their hard work and commitment paid off winning 9 games and only losing to Hico all season! We are all very proud of these girls and the improvements they made. Special thanks to Coach Schur and Coach Taylor for all of their hard work with these young ladies! Meridian Girls Basketball has a bright future!

Meridian High School NHS members have forms available for their annual Valentine’s Day Fundraiser. Please see the letter attached for more information.
Meridian High School is celebrating “College Go Get It Month” for February. Teachers have been asked to decorate their doors with their college. We encourage parents and staff to discuss college, career and the workforce with our students. We also have guest speakers coming throughout the month to provide information to our students.

To ensure safe travel for students and staff, MISD will have a delayed start of 10:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2023.
As of right now, the high school basketball games originally scheduled for Tuesday 1/31 vs Kopperl, have now been rescheduled for Saturday 2/4, in Meridian. Varsity Girls will play at 3:30 and the Varsity Boys at 5:00. We will still honor our seniors before the girl’s game.
Considering current road conditions, additional precipitation overnight and a "re-freeze" of surfaces, Meridian ISD will be closed on Thursday, February 2, 2023.
