Seniors 2023 and parents please attend FAFSA night tonight @ 6 pm in the High School Library to complete your financial aid application. Completing a FAFSA is a graduation requirement and tonight we can help you with the process. Seniors have a check list with all the required information needed to complete the application. MES Families - Thank you for your support with our Big Kahuna Fundraiser. The sale ended Friday at midnight and we will be in contact in a few weeks with details if your student qualified for the Party Bus.
Orders are scheduled to be delivered to campus for pick up on 10/27. We will let you know the exact times and details soon. Thank you all again for helping this be another successful fundraiser for our school!


Meridian FCA members attended the Baylor vs. Texas FCA volleyball game today! We had a great time!

Great job to our JH volleyball b team for finishing their season strong going 2-0 in the Blum tournament today!
A team went 1-2 but improved throughout the day and has 2 home games left for the season (10/17 and 10/24).

The JH Boys and Girls teams both finished 2nd overall as a team at the District Meet! Good things are happening in Meridian ISD!



Congratulations to our JH Boys Cross Country Team- Jackson Boganwright finished 7th, Dawson Cummings finished 5th, Anthony Alonzo finished 4th, and and Hayden Cummings is the JH Boys District Champion!


Congratulations to our JH Girls Cross Country runners Elizabeth Brooks finished 6th, Sofia Estrada 7th, Mailey Padgett 8th, and Kerrington Dagley 10th at the District Cross Country Meet yesterday!


MES Families - The MHS pep rally tomorrow (10/14) is during the school day from 10:20-10:50 am. We WILL be walking over tomorrow so we can participate in the Blackout Pep Rally. Because we will be on a tight schedule & it's in the middle of the school day, there will be NO sign outs from the pep rally. If you need to pick your student up after the pep rally, please return to the elementary and sign them out through the office when we are back on campus. Thank you!

Congratulations to our HS Cross Country team! Isaac Lira placed 9th, Summer Chen placed 4th, Journey Stauffer placed 3rd and Meryl Roberson is the HS Girls District 20 A Cross Country Champion! Isaac, Summer, Journey and Meryl will compete at the Regional Cross Country Meet on Tuesday Oct. 25th at UT Arlington!

Please see the attached checklist so that you can gather all necessary items needed to complete the financial aid application. Seniors also have a copy of the checklist. All seniors are required to complete their FAFSA prior to graduation. MHS staff and Trio, from Tarleton, will be available to assist with the process.
