Thank you Jacket Nation for the support you showed tonight at our JV and Varsity games! Unfortunately, the loss tonight means that our Lady Jacket volleyball season is over; however, we could not be more proud of the improvements that our Lady Jackets have made since Day 1! Every day is a great day to be a Lady Jacket!
November 6th, the MHS juniors and seniors have the opportunity to attend a career day. Students will not miss all day of school but will only be out for a few hours. Permission slips need to be returned by Friday so we can plan for transportation. This is a great opportunity for our students to have exposure to many different careers / colleges in one place.
Wear your neon and support your Lady Jackets! JV at 5, Varsity will follow! We will recognize our 3 seniors after the varsity game.
Attention Kindergarten Parents!
Your child is invited to join us on Friday, November 1st to be presented with a small token of school spirit from one of our high school seniors before the Yellow Jacket football game! Please meet at the football stadium at 6:15pm; and an announcement will be made when it is time for your child to move down towards the field. Parents, please do not come out onto the track or field. Enjoy this special occasion from the stands or fence line, and get your cameras ready! Your child will be given the opportunity to run through the tunnel at the start of the game; feel free to join in on the spirit line!

The Band of Gold will compete in the Area D Prelims at 11:45am on Saturday, November 2 in Groesbeck! Come out and support the band as they compete for a spot in Area-Finals that evening. #RiseAsOne #WeAreMeridian
Our JH Lady Jackets will play their last volleyball game of the season tomorrow, Monday, October 28th. B team will begin at 5 and A team will follow. Come out and support these young ladies! Go Lady Jackets!
